Houchin Ferry & Maple Springs Campground close for season

December marks the end of the season for certain services at Mammoth Cave National Park: the river ferry service at Houchin Ferry and Maple Springs Group Campground. The ferry boat at Houchin Ferry will operate through Saturday, December 4, closing at the end of shift at 6:00 p.m.

Cades Cove Loop Road To Be Closed For Spraying Operation

Cades Cove Loop Road will be closed to all vehicular traffic on Wednesday, December 1st, with a partial closure on Thursday, December 2nd. During that time, park forestry technicians will treat hemlock woolly adelgid-infested hemlock trees.
