From January 30 to March 8, on weekdays, elevator service into Carlsbad Cavern will be limited to a few hours per day while the elevators undergo routine maintenance to keep them running safely and smoothly. Beginning January 14 through Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on January 16, the general entry fee will be waived at Carlsbad Caverns National Park and all National Park sites across the country. At Carlsbad Caverns, the general entry fee includes the Natural Entrance and Big Room routes. Fees for audio guides and ranger guided tours will still apply. Plus, A new ranger guided tour has been added to the cave tour schedule.
