The main park road through Lassen Volcanic National Park will open to the Bumpass Hell parking area on Saturday, June 18. The Lassen Peak trail is open to over-the-snow travel until trail crews begin work on the trail. The trail will be open to the summit on three weekends this summer.

Spring road opening has begun at Lassen Volcanic National Park. A ten-mile section of the park road from Manzanita Lake to Devastated Area will open Saturday, April 29 at 9 a.m.
